Fastmarkets calculated its daily
steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe, at €550.45 ($653.19) per tonne on Wednesday, up by €5.40 per tonne day on day from €545.05 per tonne on Tuesday.
The index was up by €12.53 per tonne week on week and by €52.53 per tonne month on month.
Wednesday’s index was based on the latest deals heard at €550 per tonne ex-works and achievable prices reported at €550-560 per tonne ex-works.
