Polish rebar producers were seeking higher prices this week amid good buying activity and a shortage of material.
Local mills have already accounted for December production, according to sources.
“Prices are soaring in Poland - it’s a rally. Most mills are sold out for December rolling,” one trader said.

weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, exw Poland, was 2,100-2,170 zloty ($569-588) per tonne on Friday up from 2,000-2,050 zloty per tonne a week earlier.
