Brazilian alumina exports totaled 864,533 tonnes in December, up by 58.6% from 545,095 tonnes in the corresponding period of 2019.
Shipments from the Belém port in the northern state of Pará reached 447,329 tonnes in December, a 90.8% year-on-year increase from 234,399 tonnes, while volumes from the São Luís port in northeastern Maranhão were 414,378 tonnes, up by 34.3% year on year from 308,585 tonnes.
