Canada Nickel, which is developing nickel-cobalt projects to deliver metals for the electric vehicles and stainless steel markets, completed an initial high-level assessment ahead of the MoU.
A detailed study, expected to be completed by the end of March, will now look at the possibility of Canada Nickel milling and further processing nickel-cobalt and magnetite concentrates from its wholly-owned Crawford nickel-cobalt sulfide project, 40km north of Glencore’s operations.
