CHINA HRC: Mills cut export offers to secure deals

Several Chinese hot-rolled coil producers cut export offers to boost trading on Thursday January 14, after several days of price falls in the domestic market.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,520-4,540 yuan ($699-702) per tonne, narrowing upward by 10 yuan per tonne
Domestic prices were largely stable on Thursday after falling for the previous three days.
A Shanghai-based trader said trading was thin in the market, but sellers were reluctant to reduce offers given mills are enjoying limited profits after prices have been softening since late December.
