CHINA REBAR: Rising mill inventories weigh on domestic prices

China’s domestic rebar prices decreased further on Thursday January 14 after coming under pressure from rising inventory levels at mills.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,280-4,300 yuan ($662-665) per tonne, down by 70 yuan per tonne
Member mills of China Iron & Steel Association (Cisa) had 13.03 million tonnes of steel inventory on January 10, up by 12.1% from the end of last month, according to data from the association.
