Fastmarkets calculated its
daily steel hot-rolled coil index, domestic, exw Northern Europe at €711.00 ($864.16) per tonne on Tuesday January 26, up by €1 from €710 per tonne on January 25.
The index was down by €8 per tonne week on week but up by €46 per tonne month on month.
The calculation of Tuesday’s index was based on achievable prices and deals heard at €700-730 per tonne ex-works.
