China’s APT export price continues to rise on domestic market gains

Exporters of ammonium paratungstate (APT) in China have once again raised their offers, following further gains in the domestic market.

Market sources said Chinese exporters are maintaining very firm offers even though some foreign buyers showed reluctance in accepting the higher prices of late.
Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for tungsten APT 88.5% WO3 min, fob main ports China was $248-254 per metric tonne unit (mtu) on Wednesday February 3, up by $1-5 per mtu (1.2%) from $243-253 per mtu a week earlier.
