Port Hedland's iron ore shipments fall in February amid tropical low, Chinese holiday

Australia’s Port of Port Hedland shipped 3% less iron ore in February compared with a year earlier, according to data from the Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA) released on Wednesday March 10.

The port exported 37.5 million tonnes of iron ore in February, compared with 38.8 million tonnes a year earlier. February’s exports are also 11.2% lower than the 42.2 million tonnes shipped out in January.
