Thyssenkrupp Steel to cut 750 more jobs

Thyssenkrupp Steel has reached an agreement with the IG Metall trade union over the loss of a further 750 jobs, the German steelmaker said this week.

In March 2020, Thyssenkrupp Steel and IG Metall's “Future Pact for Steel’ collective agreement suggested that 3,000 jobs could be eliminated by 2026 to limit the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on operations.
