Iranian semi-finished steel export trade limited by holidays

Trading activity in Iran's export slab and billet markets has been limited in the week to Wednesday March 24, due to the Nowruz celebrations, which take place on March 21-24.

“There have been no fresh steel mill sales [of billet or slab because] everybody is out enjoying holidays,” a trader said.
Fastmarkets understands, however, that there has been some activity among traders.
