LIVE FUTURES REPORT 01/04: LME zinc down 1%; rewarrantings of copper, aluminium in main warehouses

The zinc price was down the most in the London Metal Exchange base metals complex on the morning of Thursday April 1, with most of the others also drifting lower after a lackluster month's end for the metals on Wednesday.

Zinc’s three-month price was down to $2,788 per tonne on Thursday at 9am, from its closing price on Wednesday of $2,818.50 per tonne. 
This comes after the metal was mostly unchanged through the month of March, having started at a closing price of $2,816 per tonne on March 1, and up just under 1% during the first quarter of the year, given its closing price on January 4 was $2,792 per tonne.
