Hybrit will build a rock cavern storage facility for fossil-free hydrogen gas next to its
pilot facility for direct reduction in Luleå, Sweden.
The investment cost of more than 250 million Swedish Krona ($29 million) will be divided across the companies and the Swedish Energy Agency, which provides support via Industriklivet, the government initiative to promote Sweden’s transition to becoming fossil-free by 2045.
