World crude steel production up 15.2% y-o-y in March

World crude steel production increased by 15.2% year on year in March 2021, according to the latest figures from the World Steel Association (Worldsteel).

A total of 169.2 million tonnes of crude steel was produced in March by the 64 countries that report to Worldsteel, compared with 147.1 million tonnes in the corresponding month of 2020.
