Yunnan aims to resume regular power supply by June end

China’s Yunnan province, located in the southwest of the country, plans to end its peak load-shifting operations on the region’s power consumption by the end of June, according to the latest power consumption guidance released by Energy Administration in Yunnan Province on June 6.

The Energy Administration gave detailed guidance for the maximum peak-shift power, which was: not to exceed 6 million kilowatts from May 10-31, decrease to no more than 4 million kW in early June followed by less than 2 million kW in mid-June before the peak-shift was totally suspended by June end.
