Ukraine’s Metinvest to increase CRC, coated steel output for local, CIS and European markets

Ukraine’s largest national steelmaker plans to increase cold-rolled coil and coated steel products output by 2025 sold to the local market, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Europe.

The company is going to construct a cold-rolling shop at its Ilyich asset in Mariupol, consisting of a continuous cold-rolling mill combined with a pickling line, as well as three state-of-the-art lines for zinc, aluminium zinc and polymer coatings, it said.
