LIVE FUTURES REPORT 21/06: LME nickel bucks trend while other base metals continue to fall

Nickel was the only metal to show a slight increase in morning trading on the London Metal Exchange on Monday June 21, with all other base metals prices continuing to decline.

Nickel’s price was $17,285 per tonne at 9am on Monday, up 0.8% from Friday's closing price of $17,154 per tonne.

On Friday, however, the nickel price was down 7.2% from last Monday’s close of $18,480 per tonne, with only copper (down 8.3%) and zinc (down 7.3%) falling further over the week.
