GLOBAL ALUMINIUM WRAP: Premiums mostly steady around the world

Aluminium premiums globally were mostly steady and well-supported on Tuesday September 21, while the Brazilian import premium continued to play catch-up following recent gains in other global markets.

European aluminium premiums mostly stable
Premiums for aluminium in Europe were mostly steady and well-supported on Tuesday despite limited spot interest.
Fastmarkets assessed the aluminium P1020A premium, in-whs dp Rotterdam, at $380-390 per tonne on Tuesday, unchanged since September 10.
“In P1020, things are dead, it’s status quo and there’s nothing special,” a trader in Europe said.
