Chinese HRC prices continue uptrend on supply concerns

China’s hot-rolled coil prices maintained upward momentum in both domestic and export markets on Thursday November 25, with concerns about production cuts in Tangshan ahead of the Winter Olympics next year providing support.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,790-4,800 yuan ($750-751) per tonne, up by 30-60 yuan per tonne
