Eastern China rebar prices drop on push to reduce stocks ahead of slowdown in construction

Eastern China rebar prices fell on Friday November 26 in response to seller destocking and a bearish outlook on end-user demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

Domestic
Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,740-4,770 yuan ($742-747) per tonne, down by 20-30 yuan per tonne
Northern China (Beijing) weekly assessment: 4,650-4,700 yuan per tonne, up by 210-220 yuan per tonne
