Indian secondary billet prices drop $8/t on weak buying, falling finished products prices

Weak buying activity, fewer inquiries and falling prices of finished products have pulled down domestic secondary billet prices by 600 rupees ($8) per tonne during the week to Friday November 26, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets assessed steel billet domestic, ex-works India at 41,100-41,300 rupees per tonne on Friday, down by 600 rupees from 41,700-41,900 rupees per tonne last week.
