China’s HRC exporters withdraw offers on domestic gains

China’s domestic hot-rolled coil prices increased on Thursday November 2 and exporters withdrew their offers to await further clarity on developments in the local market, sources told Fastmarkets.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,800-4,820 yuan ($754-757) per tonne, up by 20-70 yuan per tonne
Decreasing production rates over the past week have pushed up HRC prices, sources said.
HRC output from China's major steel mills totaled 2.81 million tonnes in the week to Thursday, down by 112,900 tonnes week on week, according to a local industry information provider.
