Zinc up 2% on strong technical support, dip-buying boosts nickel

Zinc and aluminium prices were higher at the 5pm close of trading on the London Metal Exchange on Tuesday December 7, with both trading close to the technical support zone, while nickel surged above the $20,100-per-tonne mark.
