ArcelorMittal Bremen's joint hydrogen project gets state funding

ArcelorMittal Bremen, utility company SWB and energy supplier EWE are to jointly implement the largest industrial hydrogen project in the German city state, the steelmaker announced this week.

As part of the Hydrogen for Bremen industrial transformation (Hybit) project, the three companies are receiving funding of more than €10 million from Bremen city state, which equates to around half of the total investment budget, the company said on December 22.
