Australia’s Liontown inks spodumene supply agreement with LG Energy Solution

Australian lithium miner Liontown Resources has signed a foundational binding offtake agreement for spodumene concentrate with South Korean battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution (LGES), the former announced on Wednesday January 12.

The offtake agreement will be effective for five years from its commencement, which is expected in 2024. The deal may be extended by a further five years by mutual agreement, Liontown said.
