Chinese mills' finished steel output rises 6% in late April, Cisa says
Member mills of the China Iron & Steel Association (Cisa) raised their production rates for finished steel by 6.43% in late April compared with the preceding 10 days, according to data published by the association on Saturday May 7.
April 21-30 output
Crude steel: 2.36 million tonnes per day, up 5.50%
Finished steel: 2.29 million tpd, up 6.43%
