Chinese ferro-alloys industry body calls for major SiMn output cuts to revive market

A Chinese ferro-alloys body has recommended widespread domestic production cuts in silico-manganese to address a market downturn caused by a pandemic-related weakening of demand, relatively high supply and high raw material costs, market participants told Fastmarkets.
