Bids hit $5,955/dmt in Pilbara Minerals’ fifth spodumene auction
Bids reached $5,955 per dry metric tonne (dmt) at Australian miner Pilbara Minerals’ fifth auction for spodumene concentrate, held via its Battery Material Exchange (BMX) platform on Tuesday May 24, sources told Fastmarkets.
The bids were for 5,000 dmt of spodumene concentrate (SC 5.5% basis) on a fob Port Hedland basis with shipment between June 15 and July 15, sources said.
