Proposed CBAM changes would mean higher global emissions, European Aluminium says

The proposed inclusion of indirect emissions into the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) would result in higher emissions globally with production activity currently in Europe being shifted elsewhere, industry association European Aluminium said in a position paper published on Monday June 20.
