China stainless steel prices continue to slide on persistent weak demand, LME nickel losses

China’s stainless steel prices, in both the domestic and export markets, continued to fall in the week to Wednesday June 22, due to weak demand and a drop in nickel prices on the London Metal Exchange.

The LME three-month nickel contract closed the official session at $24,950-24,955 per tonne on June 22, down by $700-745 per tonne from $25,650-25,700 per tonne on June 15.
