Turkish mills book more deep-sea scrap, prices fall further

Import prices for Turkish deep-sea steel scrap fell further on Thursday June 23 following word of a new cargo deal, Fastmarkets was told.

A steel plant in northern Turkey booked a Baltic Sea cargo of HMS 1&2 (90:10) for $335 per tonne cfr. At the time of publishing, the cargo volume was unknown....
