Lithium price methodology

How we assess our lithium prices

As a leading provider of trusted pricing intelligence and benchmarks to the metal and mining industry, our prices are relied upon globally to bring transparency to many markets.

Our IOSCO-compliant price assessment process utilises a strict price discovery process that provides a market reflective insight into the actual spot market level at that given point in time.

This widely acknowledged methodology has led us to become the primary source for pricing across a wide-range of commodity markets.

Our methodologies are designed to reflect standard industry practices and do not incorporate the use of trade flows to establish spot prices, instead implementing a more real-time pricing technique allowing for a robust determination as to the precise level of commodity markets.
