Event Overview

This event has now passed. A huge thank you from everyone at Metal Bulletin Events to all those involved.

The 3rd International Nickel Conference will be held in London in 2015. Dates and venue will be announced soon.

Following the success of last year’s launch Metal Bulletin’s 2nd International Nickel Conference in Seville, Spain established itself as an important meeting in the industry calendar. The conference brought together producers, end users and traders from around the globe.
A huge surplus and depressed prices meant that 2013 had been a tough year for many in the industry. However, with the implementation of the Indonesian ban in full force the sentiment in Seville was optimistic. Discussion was dominated by the positive outlook for the nickel price in the coming years, driven by strong demand and a severe drop in supply driven by lack of Indonesian ore, a lack of viable greenfield projects and possible Russian sanctions.

Delegates heard insight from top level nickel and stainless steel producers. Alongside excellent networking opportunities this was the best place to learn how to position your business ahead of the huge changes the industry is facing.
