Héctor Córdova is CEO of a small complex mineral (zinc, lead, silver) company located in Bolivia and analyst of Foundation Jubileo in mining issues. Since 2006, he worked as advisor of government in mining subjects. He worked at Deputy Chamber in mining Committee and later, in 2010, Héctor was designed as Vice minister of mining and metallurgical development of Bolivia, a year later, Bolivian government designed Hector as CEO of COMIBOL, the most important state company of Bolivia. His main concerns were about zinc and lead productions because Bolivia exports concentrates of these metals transferring welfare to foreign countries instead of financing local development. In 2012 he started to track zinc and lead recovery technologies and their markets, authoring many papers about that issue. He has also undertaken several consultancy projects on zinc and lead Bolivian strategies to increase state incomes and improve public policies. He is a regular speaker at metal and mineral industry events, universities meetings and other conferences worldwide.
