A growing metal deficit, particularly in China, strong growth in global manufacturing activity and improved investor sentiment towards base commodities boosted aluminium prices to a one-year high in July, UC Rusal said in its latest quarterly report.

PRICING NOTICE: Proposed change to China alumina price publication day

Metal Bulletin is proposing to change the day it publishes its China alumina prices to Thursdays from Fridays.
